About Imperial Point
Imperial Point is a lovely residential neighborhood in northeast Fort Lauderdale, bordered on the north by McNab Road, and on the south by NE 56th Street, between US 1 (Federal Highway) and NE 18th Avenue. It is a friendly community with sidewalks and streetlights and is home to both waterfront and dry-lot homes, all beautifully maintained and framed by lovingly manicured lawns.
Imperial Point was originally developed in the 1960's, though many of the homes have been updated throughout the years to keep up with the changing Fort Lauderdale real estate market. Lots are typically sized at 100' x 80' on average and those that are waterfront do have ocean access with 2 fixed bridges. At the north end of the neighborhood is the beautiful Imperial Point Park. With its shaded playground and serene oasis, the park is popular among the residents. It is also home to the prestigious Pine Crest School, with a nationally recognized academic program for Pre-K through 12th Grade.
Residents enjoy being just minutes to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, with it's Commercial Boulevard fishing pier, and many fine beachfront restaurants and bars, many of which offer live music on the weekends.
